DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, STRESS AND ASSOCIATED FACTORS AMONG HEALTHCARE WORKERS AT MILITARY HOSPITAL 175 IN 2024

Objective: To assess depression, anxiety, stress and associated factors among healthcare workers at Military Hospital 175 in 2024.
Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted among 258 healthcare workers at Military Hospital 175. Data were collected from March to May 2024. Symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress were measured using the DASS-21 scale. Data analysis was performed using Microsoft Excel 2019 and SPSS version 20.0.
Results: The prevalence of depression, anxiety, and stress among healthcare workers was 43.4%, 60.1%, and 49.6%, respectively, with the majority presenting mild levels. Factors significantly associated with mental health status included monthly income, job position, relationships with colleagues, frequency of administrative pressure, exposure to hazardous factors, and frequency of witnessing severe complications or death (p<0.05).
Conclusion: Work-related factors have a significant impact on the mental health of healthcare workers at Military Hospital 175. Interventions are needed to improve mental well-being among this population.
