Guideline for contributors
I. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Scientific articles submitted to the Journal of Military Pharmaceutical-Medical Practice 175 must meet the following requirements:
• The manuscript must not have been published in any other journal.
• The article must be written in Vietnamese or English, with a maximum length of 10 A4 pages, including references (font: Times New Roman, size 13; line spacing: 1.3; margins: left 3 cm, right 2 cm, top 2 cm, bottom 2 cm).
• Terminology must be consistent with the Vietnam Encyclopedia. Foreign terms should remain in their original form. Abbreviations must be defined at first appearance before use, and should only be used if they appear at least three times per page. Automatic page numbering must be used.
• Publication must be approved by all co-authors and relevant institutions (if any). The journal bears no legal responsibility for any claims for compensation.
• Authors must clearly cite the source when using data, tables, or text previously published in other works. Any manuscript without proper citation will be considered as originating from the author.
II. MANUSCRIPT TYPES AND FORMATS
All manuscripts must follow one of the formats below. Authors must comply with word limits and eligibility criteria for each type. Word limits include all sections unless otherwise specified.
1. Original Research Articles
The journal considers original research in medical and pharmaceutical sciences, including:
• Studies conducted on patients or human data
• Preclinical studies with direct clinical relevance
The journal particularly values research related to diseases. Acceptance depends on originality, scientific quality, clinical relevance, and alignment with the journal’s aims. Decisions are typically communicated via email within 2 months.
Manuscripts not initially formatted correctly may still be reviewed for content; if accepted, authors must revise according to journal format.
Requirements:
• Maximum length: ≤5,000 words (including title page, abstract, references, tables, and figure captions)
• References: ≤20 (must be relevant and up-to-date)
• Tables: ≤5
• Figures: ≤5
• Abstract: ≤250 words, structured into:
o Background
o Methods
o Results
o Conclusion
Structure (IMRAD format):
• Title
• Authorship
