Manuscript receipt and initial screening
The author submits the manuscript and the Editorial Board reviews the submission.
After the manuscript is submitted, the Editorial Office will send an email confirmation to the author acknowledging receipt of the manuscript. These manuscripts will undergo an initial screening stage conducted by the Editorial Board and the Editorial Secretariat:
- If the manuscript meets the journal’s aims and scope and ensures appropriate content quality, the Editorial Board will send an email informing the author that the manuscript has been accepted for peer review.
- If the manuscript does not meet the requirements, there are two cases:
• (1) The manuscript can be revised and reconsidered. The Editorial Office will return it to the author for revision in accordance with the specified requirements;
• (2) The manuscript cannot be further revised, or although it is acceptable in form but contains fundamental academic errors or is inconsistent with the journal’s aims, scope, and objectives. In this case, the Editorial Office will notify the author that the manuscript is not accepted for peer review.
- Processing time: The response time for the initial screening stage is 1–7 days, counted from the time the Editorial Office confirms receipt of the manuscript from the author.
