Synovial sarcoma is a rare malignant soft tissue tumor and usually in the extremities of adults closely related to the joint capsule, tendon sheath, synovial capsule, only a very few cases of synovial sarcoma arise in the abdomen. Cases of primary synovial sarcomas arising from the great omentum are extremely rare and they are all highly malignant tumors that are often diagnosed late with poor prognosis. In this report, we present a case of primary synovial sarcoma arising from the great omentum that was diagnosed and treated with a clinical presentation resembling a mesenteric tumor with bleeding complications.
